The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most cherished traditional celebrations in China. It is a time for family reunions, sharing good food, and wishing for happiness and prosperity.
In Xiamen, Fujian Province, the festival comes with a particularly exciting tradition — Bo Bing, a unique dice game that brings people together through laughter, anticipation, and friendly competition.
At LFT-G, we brought this local tradition into our workplace, celebrating the festival with our team through an enjoyable Bo Bing gathering.
Bo Bing, also known as Mooncake Gambling, is a traditional folk activity originating in southern Fujian, especially Xiamen and surrounding areas.
The game is played by rolling six dice into a ceramic bowl. Different dice combinations represent different prize levels, with the ultimate goal of rolling the highest-ranking combination and winning the grand prize.
Although the game involves a little luck, what makes Bo Bing special is the excitement of every dice roll, the cheers from colleagues, and the shared happiness of the celebration.

The real prize is the laughter and happiness shared with everyone.
Our celebration was filled with excitement from the very first roll. Colleagues gathered around the tables, taking turns rolling the dice and hoping for a lucky combination. Every roll brought laughter, cheers, and a little suspense.
Of course, no Bo Bing celebration would be complete without prizes! From carefully prepared gifts to the grand prizes, every item added to the festive atmosphere.
More importantly, it was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to take a break from daily work, enjoy time together, and strengthen the connections that make our team special.
For us at LFT-G, Mid-Autumn Festival is more than a traditional holiday. It is a reminder of the importance of connection, appreciation, and shared achievements.
